It is a preschool program that addresses the readiness gap which positively impacts the achievement gap. It also accelerates cognitive and language development in young children.
 
It is absolutely free.
 
No. You must provide transportation for your child to attend classes.
 
The Early Learning Center adheres to the District’s approved calendar. Three-year old students will attend school half days for the first two weeks of the school year as they transition to a formal school setting. If the school calendar is modified for any reason, parents/guardians will be notified.

Students must reside within the boundaries of DCSD and be 3 years old as of September 1, 2020.  Parents must also provide all other required mandatory documents during registration. If more than 200 applications are received, the remaining families will be placed on a wait list.

Students must be potty trained in order to be a student at the Early Learning Center at Terry Mill.
